This art collection was inspired by Neo Soul, Jazz, Funk and soul music ranging from the early 60s-80s.
Thereβs something magical and unique about that time, which makes me visually see people dancing, feeling completely free and be their authentic self.Β
As a creative, I tried to tap into this specific emotion and recreate a range of pieces from portraits of famous musicians to the essence of music on canvas paper with acrylics and sharpies markers, with the use of bold, fun colors and psychedelic prints.
